Lidyalı Cafe & Atelier is located in the oldest shopping street in Istanbul. The area is also a  a center for jewellery trade like client’s original business . Therefore, the restaurant is designed with display and ateiler  functions.

 

The aim of the design was to create a cosy atmosphere with minor regional touches for tourist attraction. Therefore, Istanbul sillouhette is used above the bar . The most challenging part of the original space was high ceiling height with very low windows. Antique mirror with metal frames are placed above the windows to have higher opening effect.
